Vectored Approach ✕ Tecnam
Vectored Approach and Tecnam have formed a partnership to transform how flight training is done — in Texas, across the USA, and beyond. The Academy has taken delivery of its first two Tecnam P-Mentors, with a third on order, and the P-Mentor and P2010 will be the workhorses of the Academy fleet.
Meet N511US at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh — our first P-Mentor will be on display with Tecnam all week. Come sit in it, meet our instructors, and ask us anything.

The P-Mentor

If your ambition is to earn your wings as a professional aviator, we fly the aircraft that is designed for your success, the Tecnam P-Mentor. From basic maneuvers to advanced IFR and Commercial license maneuvers, the mighty P-Mentor is the aircraft of choice.
The P2010

“The Tecnam P2010, with its noticeable performance, innovative technology and design, is without doubt the perfect airplane to fulfill our mission to make exemplary pilots.”
Advanced Avionics

The P-Mentor can operate under IFR rules in compliance with the latest EASA and FAA requirements, allowing PBN/RNAV as well as AFCS training capabilities. The latest avionics and the sporty design allow pilots to feel in complete control of their aircraft.

Training Built for Today's Advanced Cockpits
Today's aviation industry requires mastery of both automation and stick-and-rudder skills more than ever. From the first lesson, our aspiring aviators learn not just stick-and-rudder flying but the procedural concepts of FMS and automation tasks. Management of a modern, automated flight deck requires very specific skills that Vectored Approach is focused on providing our clients. How do you sequence a flight plan, what is a flight director, how do we program a flight director, what is flight path awareness and how do we manage situational awareness of flight path and energy in an automated cockpit? At Vectored Approach Flight Academy we don't ignore the auto pilot, we build critical foundational skills essential to your success. We don't stop there, in addition to automation discipline, our culture and operations are built around a robust Safety Management System, incorporating Safety Resource Management, FOQA, and AQP concepts throughout our organization and curriculum.
