VJ Mentorship, a Vectored Approach

Subject Matter Experts - Train with the Pros

At Vectored Approach, we live and breathe Vision Jet every day.  We train and license the initial Type rating, annual Recurrent training, Supervised Operating Experience and Mentorship.  In addition we fly the Vision jet in demanding Part 135 operations.

Stretch your depth of knowledge and skills

Would you like to practice simulated single engine flameouts? Brush up on complex SID and STAR altitude constraints using VNAV?  Would you like to learn valuable strategic and tactical skills in a convective weather environment? Would you like to fly and make decisions like a professional airman?  We would love to help you with this and much more!

Flexible training options

Would you like to travel to Austin or perhaps you prefer that we travel to you?  Depending upon the training device that you would like to train in, we can provide our RealSimGear simulators and our fleet aircraft, a beautiful G2+ here in Austin, Texas.  If you prefer that we visit your home base we can train on your aircraft or RSG simulator.

Why owner pilots choose Vectored Approach

Vectored Approach is an aviation training program development tour de force in both the Part 135 and Part 61 space. VA partners with Executive Aircraft Services, a premier charter operator, to provide training curriculum and an SMS umbrella for their professional crews. EAS's flight operations and in-house maintenance system live under a robust SMS — and EAS Vision Jet fleet operation efficiency and safety initiatives flow back to our Part 61 training and into your flight deck.

Safety Resource Management

Safety resource management is the disciplined use of every resource available to an aviator — automation, information, ATC, cockpit flows, checklists, and the pilot's own attention — to keep every operation inside its safety margins. In the Vision Jet, certified for a single pilot, that discipline becomes single-pilot resource management: an automation policy, workload triggers, and aeronautical decision making (ADM), built into every element we teach.
